Alex started Voila Cinematic in 2007 with a desire to shoot edit and produce high quality films. His passion for filmmaking began as a high school student and Alex went on to earn a degree in from University of South Florida and a degree in film directing from Princeton University. His later experience working for VH-1 and MTV on popular shows such as “Hogan Knows Best” and “My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding” laid the groundwork for Voila Cinematic. When he's not handcrafting films, Alex can be found spending quality time with his wife and 2 boys,  and as a die-hard Cubs fan, rooting on his favorite team. Go Cubs! 

Jocelyn hails from Kentucky and despite what some may think, loves shoes and wears them MOST of the time! Jocelyn joined Voila in 2009 working alongside hubby Alex to expand their vision for Voila Cinematic.  Jocelyn works with our Signature clients from their first phone call to the time they receive their films and after to ensure a great experience throughout the wedding planning process. Jocelyn’s background is in the performing arts and she has played roles all over the world dancing and singing, but her FAVORITE role is that of mommy to two busy boys ages 3 and 7. 

Alex (Voltz) discovered his passion for entertainment as a child when he started studying tap, jazz and ballet.  He ultimately entered a professional career in the performing arts,  teaching and choreographing and joining the entertainment department at Busch Gardens as a performer. In 2009, Alex joined Voila Cinematic looking for a new challenge. Under the direction of Alex Karas, he learned a whole new side of entertainment - working behind the scenes. Alex currently serves as Associate Producer for Voila Cinematic. He and his wife Lindsay are newlyweds and love spending time with their dog Ollie and traveling.

Jeni joined the Voilà Cinematic team October 2024.  Originally from North Carolina, she moved down to sunny Tampa in 2015 with her caring husband and two sweet boys.  Getting to help brides and seeing the final films of their special days is an absolute joy for her.  She enjoys being a part of the process and truly cares for each detail.  "I can vibe with all the different styles, each wedding is a unique representation of each couple, and it's so fun to see how it all comes together." Jeni also loves exclamation marks, a package en route, and her dachshund Hildegard.
